Law, or legal studies, comes into contact with almost every area of human life, touching upon issues relating to business, economics, politics, the environment, human rights, international relations and trade. It is telling that the first academic degrees developed were all related to law. As a law student, you can expect to learn how to tackle some of the most problematic – indeed, often seemingly irresolvable – conflicts and issues in modern society and morality. In providing a framework through which to examine and understand different societies and cultures, law degrees are a useful way to prepare not only for specific legal careers, but for a broad range of professional roles – and indeed, for life in general.

  • B.A.,LLB- Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent with min 45% (for General category),42% (for O.B.C. category) and 40% (for SC/ST) from any recognized board.

DEPARTMENTAL HIGHLIGHTS

Moot Court

Moot court of Greater Noida college of Law is very effective and very attractive. Moot Court is an Integral part of any law student's dream to make it big in their profession. Moot Court is the laboratory where a future lawyer acquires and hones his/her skills of advocacy. Greater Noida College of Law boasts of a real moot court where students practice their court etiquette.

 

Conference And Seminar

At GNCL we have an environment that generates high-quality research which is both contemporary and rigorous. Conferences, seminars and Guest Lectures are a regular features at the campus providing a forum for presenting research work and discussing important issues of global interest. These events bring together academics, corporate and policy-makers and are an opportunity to network and learn.

 

Library

Greater Noida College Of Law library provides students with extensive facilities to maximize their knowledge in the field of law. It is probably the most frequently visited section of the college and most certainly the heaven for dedicated law students. Students can avail library facilities from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Timing is extended at the time of examinations. For easy and prompt access all books are catalogued manually as well as on the computer. The library is wire free and students are encouraged to bring their laptops to access the internet.

 

HOSTEL FACILITIES

Greater Noida College of Law hostal provided 24 hour wi fi internet and power backup. Limited accommodation is available for boys and girls on first come first serve basis at the Hostel. Paying guest accommodations can also be arranged upon request. The halls of residence have mess facilities as well, which is managed by a mess committee comprising of students. The halls of residence also have a common dining area with a television and other sporting facilities.

Medical

Institute has a tie-up with a local hospital (which is only 1 km away from the campus) for both OPD and hospitalization facilities. In case of emergency, the institute ambulance is used to transfer the sick person to the hospital. It is a unique feature of GNCL that all hostel boarders are covered under medical insurance policy.

 

Cafeteria

A favorite joint of the students during off hours is the large and well-designed Cafeteria with open air. The Cafeteria is full-equipped with necessary appliances to provide both Indian and continental snacks, fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee, working meals, sandwich, pizza, burgers, noodles, curd, lassi etc.

Gymnasium

A well equipped gymnasium facility is available for Boys and Girls under guidance with a qualified Trainer.
Gym Gymnasiums with a trainer are located one each in girls' as well as boys' hostels. Gyms are well equipped, air-conditioned and have latest instruments and machines to ensure better fitness and health facilities for the students, faculty and staff members. There are two sections in the gymnasiums. One section is meant for general exercises while the other is meant for weight training. The instruments and machines include Tread Mills, Weight Plates, Fat Buster, Swiss Balls, Cross Trainer, Medicine Ball, Smith Machine, Dumb-Bells, Benches and Steppers.

 

Transport

Transport facility is provided to the willing students, faculty and staff residing in the NCR region, viz. Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi etc. The institute has its own fleet of buses which take care of daily transport requirements. The bus facility also used by students for the purpose of executions,educational tours and industrial visits
