GNIT IPU Shines at Smart India Hackathon 2025-Innovation for Farmers!
The CARTEL CODERS team from Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIT IPU) delivered an outstanding performance at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025.
Under the guidance of Prof. Sujeet Kumar, the team developed a unique, low-cost, and offline smartphone-based solution for farmers. This innovation accurately predicts crop diseases before they occur and provides easy-to-understand diagnosis in the local language.
The project received valuable support from the institute’s Chairman, Shri B. L. Gupta.
Team members — Adarsh, Piyush, Sakshi, Tanisha, Aditya, and Paramanshu — collaboratively presented this innovation at SIH 2025.

This technology holds great potential to become a major support system for farmers and bring new advancements to the agricultural sector in the future.
