JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Answer Key

The National Testing Agency (NTA) formally published the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 final answer key on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, on February 16, 2026, for paper 1 and on February 23, 2026, for paper 2. The final results also came out on the same day for both papers, along with the toppers’ list. No further requests for review were entertained after that.

Nine questions were removed from the final key across all 10 shifts, and four questions have been given several correct answers in Session 1 exams. Most drops took place in the January 22 shift. Marks were given in accordance with NTA's evaluation guidelines.

The tentative answer key, response sheet, and question paper PDFs were previously made available by NTA on February 4, 2026, and applicants had the opportunity to voice any concerns within the challenge window till February 6, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.

The JEE Mains Result 2026 Session 1 was made public on February 16 along with the final answer key. After the result link was published on the official portal, students were able to view their scorecard, percentile, and rank.

How the JEE Main 2026 Answer Keys are released?

The JEE Main 2026 Answer key comes out in two stages –

Initially, the provisional JEE Main 2026 answer keys for Session 1 and Session 2 are made public just a few days after the exams to allow the JEE test-takers to calculate their projected scores and, in case of any discrepancies, file an objection against answers they believe to have been miscalculated by the authorities.

• If the authorities deem the objection valid, the complainer will receive full marks for the answer and a refund of Rs. 200 charged for objecting.
